Every year a portion of our proceeds goes to the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), whose mission is to ensure wildlife and wild lands thrive in modern Africa. They are active in fighting the illegal poaching and trafficking of endangered wildlife as well as fighting the demand for endangered animal products, such as elephant ivory and rhino horn.

The AWF also helps protect African land and habitats by expanding protected areas and by expanding the management of these areas. A big part of the AWF’s land and habitat programs involve combatting climate change in Africa, which bears a large part of the problems caused by climate change.

Lastly, since its inception, the AWF has been providing jobs, conservation training, educational opportunities, and, ultimately, the ability for the people of Africa to diversify their livelihoods and secure a promising future for their communities.
